Why I wrote this
“Sometimes healing is just not giving up on yourself today.”
I’d lost someone I loved deeply. I was heartbroken and exhausted, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t shake it.
I was doing the bare minimum with my beautiful kids. I snapped over nothing, then went completely silent. Most days I just wanted to crawl back into bed. I felt like I was failing at everything.
When a friend gave me the number of a healer, I was desperate enough to try anything. I’d already tried therapy, time and just waiting for it to pass. Nothing had worked. I went along half-assed and pretty sceptical. In that first session I mostly cried.
It didn’t take years. It took a handful of sessions, a willingness to learn and a real desire to change my life. After that, it was small, simple practices I kept coming back to, and being honest with myself about what came up.
What I learned was that I’d been looking at everything through a heavy lens. Worry, fear, feeling alone, not trusting anyone else to carry it. Life felt like it was happening to me, so I held on tight and tried to control all of it. When I started to see things differently, my life started to shift.
This book is everything I did, written down so you don’t have to work it out on your own. I first wrote it for my own kids. Now I’m sharing it with you.

Inside the book
Every chapter ends with Inner Reflections to journal with and a guided practice you can do the same day. By the end, you’ll have simple practices you can come back to whenever life feels heavy again.
Before you decide anything
Coming back to yourself needs quiet, a little space, and a few minutes that belong to you. Put the phone down, close your eyes if you can, and let your mind settle. As you breathe for this one minute, notice what comes up for you. In for four, out for six.

Questions
I get why you’d ask. Most of them want you to think your way out of it, and I couldn’t. This one starts with your body and the small things I did on ordinary days, with kids, work and a full house. It’s short and it’s real. No retreat, no programme to sign up to, nothing else to buy.
I’m a mum who lost herself for a while. Six years ago my world fell apart, and it was a healer, a lot of tears and some very simple practices that brought me back. I’m not writing as an expert. I’m writing as someone who has been where you are and found a way through, and this is everything that helped.
Some of it is spiritual, and I won’t pretend otherwise. I talk about a Creator, and I’m comfortable calling that God. You don’t have to be. Call it Spirit, the universe, nature or nothing at all. Most of the practices are very ordinary: sitting quietly, breathing, writing things down and noticing what your body is holding.
I know. I didn’t either. Some practices fit into a quiet moment, like the one I did while the kettle boiled. Others ask for a little more time, because they’re there to slow you right down so you can hear yourself again. Go at your own pace and come back when you can. You can’t fall behind.
Think about how long you’ve been carrying this. Months, maybe years. If you try the practices for two weeks and nothing has changed, email me and I’ll refund you. You don’t have to explain or prove anything.
No. I’ve worked with therapists, and the good ones changed my life. This book is what I used between sessions and on the days I had no one to call. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to a professional or a helpline in your country.
Straight after payment you’ll get a download link on screen and a copy by email. Each PDF carries the buyer’s email on its pages, so please keep your copy for yourself.
The book costs less than a few cups of coffee, and you can go as slowly as you need. Start with one practice tonight. The rest will wait for you.
